Orientation Checklist
Before your orientation session encourage your student to:
- Know their Campus Wide Identification Number (CWID).
- Create their myBama Account (includes BamaMail) at: mybama.ua.edu.
- Learn what they can do with their major at: career.ua.edu.
- Review the undergraduate catalog and course schedules at: mybama.ua.edu.
- Prepare for their math placement test: testing.ua.edu.
- Have their MMR immunization and TB test verification forms prepared by your family doctor: rshc.ua.edu.
- Answer questions about on-campus living: housing.ua.edu.
- Plan to purchase their football tickets online at: rolltide.com. Supply of student tickets is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The date for new students to purchase football tickets has not yet been announced.
During orientation, encourage your student to:
- Get their Action Card (student ID) made: actcard.ua.edu.
- Learn about Bama Dining meal membership: www.bamadining.com.
- Sign up for Bama Cash: http://actcard.ua.edu/pages/bamacash.shtml.
- Find out about tuition and other costs: cost.ua.edu.
- Turn in their MMR immunization and TB test verification at the Student Health Center or to their representative at the Information Fair shc.ua.edu.
- Register for their classes.

Encourage your student to:
- Register for their parking permit: bamaparking.ua.edu
- Reserve their textbooks from the SUPe Store: Alabamasupplystore.com
